Teen wins computer in essay contest

Korey Alexandra Jung-Ae Buecheler, 15, of Bloomsbury Drive, Onondaga, recently won a Dell computer system in an essay contest.

Buecheler was presented the computer system by Dr. Joseph Barry, whose Preventive Med­icine Associates sponsored a "Do A Good Deed" contest.

A Westhill High School student, Buecheler raised money for transportation for a South Kore­an orphanage. She is the daughter of William and Leslie Buecheler.

"I didn't do the good deed for any recognition, but I could sure use a computer to take jvith me to college in a couple of years" Buecheler said.
Preventive Medicine is at 5415 W. Genesee St.

Barry said the contest would continue and added that other contestants received gift certifi­cates to Barnes and Nobles bookstore.

"Doing good deeds, which is defined as deeds which benefit others rather than the individual doing the deedris a step in the right direction," Barry said.

"This kind of step has built this country."
